Ok, i posted before that when I tried playing the demo, it'd freeze on "Loading 3d Graphics", now it just crashes back to the desktop after about 30 seconds of "Loading 3d Graphics" I have a 200mhz computer. No 3d card, and like 64mbs ram. Now I was able to run the beta demo, but i can't run this one. Someone please help. And yes, I know, I need to get a 3dcard. I take donations.

The Clay Pigeons Of St. Lo It's about a Battalion commander in the 29th Inf. Div. during the normandy invasion. Like someone previously said.. Company Commander is a great one, I'm in the middle of reading it now. I haven't read much, so I don't know of many that focus on battalion, platoon, etc.. level stuff.. I prefer those, but the big picture ones are easier to come by.

Part time, uh contruction worker I guess, i work for my friend's dad doing decks, gazeebos, cement, digging(lots and lots of digging). I also set up punk and hardcore shows every now and then, I get a few dollars from that. I also do photography when I can afford the film, but that doesn't pay, just a hobby, oh and I'm a full-time ww2 reenacter although that only happens once every 2 months. lucero1148, I've thought about becoming a photojournalist, but I just can't seem to find the ambition. There was a previous topic about this, but it got off on something else.... I just was at CGS and saw a short preview on this. The one picture of it looked nice. They said it's kinda like Soldiers At War and X-Com. I'm a fan of Soldiers At War, so Squad Leader looks promising to me. Does anyone know where there are some more screenshots of it availble? I can start it up, choose the scenario and stuff, but then when it goes to load the scenario, it says "Loading 3d Graphics" or something, and it freezes after about 30 seconds. Now, I'm assuming this is because I don't have a 3d-card, but I ran the beta w/ out one. I am using IE. But it may be the fact my mom put on this IE beta crap, so that might be what's screwing it up.

Hey Madmatt, I can't get on the Annex, everytime i try, my browser freezes. This problem may have been discussed before,and I appoligize ahead of time, but I was just too lazy to search. Anyway, why's it always freeze on me?

You guys forgot the MP43 and it's final version the MP44, thought it wasn't seen on the west front til late in the war, I hear they were commen on the east front. One of the germans we fought against at the last even had one of those... he was kicking our asses w/ it.. well the russians, us para's are smart, we stayed in the woods and let them come to us.

Yes, the para's used the helmets more often than the berets because they were much more concealing then a maroon beret. But I think BTS gave them the berets so you'd know who they were. In a couple hours I'll put up some pictures I got.. MG, Personally I'd like to do one at Ft. Stevens so my friends and family(my dad and grandfather-WW2 Navy vet) can come see and under stand the stuff a little bit better. Damn this one was great... They had a lot of germans this time. We had russians this time as well. We(the allies) actually got to be on the defensive a couple times!! For the first two scenarios where we were on the defensive, we kicked they Germans' asses, we(our unit, dunno about the other guys)didn't get any casualtys.. they kept walking right in front of us. Today we did the attack again, they had the fox holes up on the hill and they wacked us all.. It was fun though. Nice weather. One of the Germans is trying to start a SS unit. The 2nd SS I believe. I got the chance to shoot a MP40, those are nice. I like the sten better for some reason.. not as bulky.. has a little more jump to it, I like the jump, feels real, the rifles have no jump... We might actually do a jump sometime this summer... I've been constantly bitching about SS on their forums and someone compared it to CC and I mentioned how CC was better because it wasn't a click fest, you had more time to think and plan stuff out. He then responded saying it WAS a click fest because you had to click to open a menu then click on your choice then click on what/where that choice is to be carried out. I guess the fact you can't simply right click to move, left click to target is too much clicking for them, instead you right click, left click, right, left, right,... I dunno, SS was too fast for my mind,... I played it like 4 times then promptly removed it from my sys. Someone else asked me why, if I don't like the game, I continue to come to the forum and post, I responded saying... If I don't bitch, then CDV(SS makers)will think everyone loves the game how it is, now if I bitch, they'll notice they're losing money 'cause some people want this... so in hopes of improvement I'll just keep bitching...
