What year and month were you playing in? If you were playing against the Axis forces in late 1945 then prehaps they were made up of mostly conscript/green troops. Therefore they would surrender at any sign of loss. von Manstein

I have a comparable system to that stated above, the only difference is that I have an ATi All in Wonder 128 16meg card, and hitting the ESC key from inside the game (in order to minimise it) causes a total system lockup. If you wish a full DX report and system specs just ask. von Manstein

I believe that the German stick grenade or potatoe masher was easier to throw not due to its weight, but due to its design. Having a handle to throw it with which give increased leverage. Also the German stick grenade relied on the explosive blast to kill/injure its intended victims since it used a thin casing for the explosive head, with the egg type grenades the casing was made with a thicker casing designed with scoring or made with a "sectional" design in order to produce more shrapnel. von Manstein

I was happily playing the demo, with no problems... until I decided to install DX7. After that the game would lock up 5 minutes into the game, or even at the setup phase.. I have a PII-400, 64meg ram, and an ATi All-in-Wonder 128 16meg video card. I know the problem isn't my hardware or drivers, it is the evil MS DirectX 7, anyone know of a utility that will uninstall it and let my system revert back to nice old stable DX 6? I'll even play a PBEM game with you to show my gratitude.... von Manstein
