  1. Actually its A-OK to ask me to mail it, cause i got the go-ahead from the author of the other mod (Volcano Man), so hopefully madmatt will post it soon. BUT two files will not make it in to the mod posted by madmatt, because they are from the original game and i will probarbly get my ass whopped by psygnosis or wings if i release them... but i just MIGHT forget to delete them from any mailed zip files wink.gif

  2. Ive just sent a new sound mod to Madmatt. I cant say that i "made" the mod since i just took sounds from a panzer elite mod and changed the format to fit CM. but im still proud of it. it also included a txt file with a list of the numbers and corresponding sounds for combat mission. its by no means complete (the list that is) but i might be inclined to continue checking it if yáll want some more sound mods.

    I have no idea if Madmatt will post the mod but if he doesnt just ask him to post the txt file anyway.

  3. I just sent a sound mod to Madmatt that included a txt document with most of the sound files sorted out, but not the "There coming right for us!" kinda files, just the sound effects.

    hopefully Madmatt will post it. If not he could still post the txt file. Its by no means complete, I do NOT intend to sit and sort out what bang goes with what gun.

What i meant by the night visibility range thing is that when youre looking from one point you can only see so much... as it is with fog now... but once you move forward you will see more... again as with fog... just that when you look from view 1 or 2 youll only see a limited distance. just as it is with fog on, but if you put fog on now, in a night mission, your soldiers wont see their hand infront of them... just want that "the enemy could be lurking in the shadows" feeling when playing at night... as it is now it feels like there are street lights placed every five meters or something. It just isnt very dark.

  5. i would actually like the same visual limitation (real-life that is, not just ai-wise) in night time conditions that you only can get with thick fog... i always have fog on during night missions just cause it looks better... otherwise you can see just as good as during the day (im not talking los here, purly cosmetical)

    btw... Teach... i sent you a scenario called the bridge... I lost it could you send it back???

  8. I actually use the ballistics only setting. but when i get comfortable with the targeting i will set it to realistic.

    splinty: that never happens to me... are you using the 1.7 patch?

    maddog: im actually using another mod right now (with some sounds from the motherofallsounds mod) called MY mod by a Michael Y (hence MY mod). Its great... makes the game even more realistic (also gives you 4 of all tanks available at the period in the beginning of each campain but u can ignore that and only use the tank you were given by default)
