  1. Long thread covering the action with the T-72 working over the T-shaped trenchline and interviews with 3 russian POWs who where there. Interviews have english subs. I just use chrome to translate the rest of the page to english. (Scroll up the page, I don't know how to post the clips in order). https://twitter.com/666_mancer/status/1646962298064457745
  2. From todays ISW, another example of the russian art of shooting yourself in the foot. Hopefully this treatment will hasten discontent and further loss of influence with central asia.
  3. Some not so pleasant reading from the intel leak (if true)
  4. This is something I've noticed looking at the pro RU accounts over the past months - last year the maps covered large areas with big arrows going here and there and language describing sweeping advances and gains. Now they're reporting on this house or this street having been taken with the same language, its kind of strange. I still don't really understand why RU have chosen this hill to die on, there's how many hundreds of kilometers of front and yet they're bogged down in street fighting in one smallish city. Makes me think that they really don't have the resources anymore for any bigger moves and that they know they're outclassed in the open so they're using the street fighting to try and even out the playing field.
  5. Some go-pro footage from inside Bakhmut of an AGL team providing fire support. Not much in the way of action per se but the audio gives a sense of the intensity of fighting. They double it downstairs towards the end when they hear a GRAD strike. English subs are good.
  6. Don't believe I've seen molotov balloons before.
  7. Here's another one of these that was posted today, wiki says "Aistyonok is a portable counter-battery radar system developed and produced by the state-owned Almaz-Antey corporation for the Russian Armed Forces"
  8. Mildly interesting thread re bribes to avoid being sent to UKR
  9. Close (but safe-ish) view of an incoming Grad(?) strike
  10. Close up of still smoking damaged/destroyed YPR. Translation of tweet states everyone alive Edit, same clip in English
  11. It's been called as a defeat for UKR I'm afraid. If they're this good at clearing trenches I'm hopeful UKR can start training their own Beaver units. Edit - anyone else seeing a NAFO pic on the twitter home button and loading screen?
  12. Is Visegrad but not much here to exaggerate
  13. Like you say, take the human out of it and you can either add more 'stuff' or make it smaller/cheaper. I think we are going to see more and more remote control vehicles over the coming decades.
  14. Speaking of the Tank is dead - two view of the same vehicle firing - it's a bit odd looking at it from this angle, comments suggest a T-80U... So ex-russian?
  15. I also hope that that factory in Poland is working overtime producing lots of blow up copies of all these new vehicles. Keep RU guessing.
  16. I was thinking this last week with the various trench actions that had been uploaded. I've heard/read gas weapons can be particularly difficult to manage so not sure if ideal for the close in stuff posted recently.
  17. ISW has an interesting paragraph re a PMC being setup in Crimea. Hopefully an indicator of more internal factional machinations and friction.
  18. Each man should also carry extras so that he can cover his hole and have a few decoys. Probably need to block heat too.
  19. Long interview with UKR infantry callsign Predator (the guy with the trench squire). Tweet has drone pics of the aftermath. Auto translate does an ok job on youtube
  20. Clip of T-55 on rail - obviously I can't vouch for what they are saying, is Visegrad, so grain + salt etc
  21. I have a feeling they've been moved to where they are pictured. The arms up plus the clothing either riding up or down the torso suggests to me the bodies have been dragged by the hands or feet.
