  2. Damn straight. Even if was freezing cold we wouldn't commit ourselves to wearing mittens. Mittens is a such an obviously pommie sounding word! *shudders* btw I can count to 4 with gloves and shoes on. What's more I could count to 5 and do a great elephant impersonation at the same time if I turn my trouser pockets out....but only after a few drinks. Mace
  3. Call for a tribunal, fetch the stenographers! Wait, I'll go grab them. Mace
  4. Cerebral? It is? Then what the feck am I doing here? Oh yeh, there's no social structure here, no pecking order, no rules to follow, just good ol' maggotted tnt chucking!  Mace
  5. I more see myself playing a part in Wuthering Heights, as Kate Bush. *skips around, waving his arms in the air and every now and then giving a high kick* Out on the stinky, stinky cess We'd talk about some foooO-Oood. You had a recipe for great Chilli: Too hot, too spicy. How could you leave me, When I needed in-gredients? I hated you. I loved you, too. Indigestion in the night from substituting wrong contents by slight, I really need, really need, need this recipe! KittttttTTttty, It's me, Macey I'm hungry! get me some haut cuisine. KittttttTTttty, It's me, Macey I'm hungry! get me some haut cuisine. *skips down the road singing* Mace
  6. I'll pay that. There's mention of a Model 17 in this list of WW1 French rail mounted artillery. Mace
  7. sur affut according to babelfish is 'on mounting' Could the M17 etc indicate the type of rail platform it was mounted on? Mace
  8. My guess would be the Germans would have used the French railroad artillery as spoils of war. So doing a search, I got this , which is a good starting point. Mace

  13. It was 22 degrees celsius (about 76 degrees fahrenheit) yesterday, more of the same today. And NO SNOW! Very mild for this time of year. I just thought I'd share that with those trapped indoors due to excessive snow falls and low temperatures.  Mace
