  6. dphillipsd, The game requires shader 2.0. Guess what your video card doesn't support? http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-014257.htm However, at that web site there is a newer video driver, worth a shot, but make sure you keep shadows off. Rune

  8. Zimbower88, Try the newest nvidia driver, the 93.81 for XP x64 and let me know how it goes. I ran the game fine with xp x64, untill I upgraded to Vista 64. It should work for you. Rune

    Enclopedia

The figures in the game are correct, and I had a few noted names peer review the figures. Encylopedia I haven't looked at, but Moon could be right, could be the ammo type. Rune
  10. At the end of the German Campaign. Rune
  11. Glad you got it working, go and enjoy the game! Rune

  14. Zimbowe, what driver are you using? Scott, stick with the 7.4. I assume you checked all the usual suspects, resolution, EAX and etc? Spartan, Look up ati xpress 200 IGP on google. go to pc stats or firing squad or anandtech and read how the 200 IGP has problems with 3d video. Doom 3 won't run better then 15 fps. Hopefully ATI will get out a better driver. Rune
  15. Go into tow setup, turn off shadowing and set to 1024 X 768. Svae the setup and try launching the game. Rune
  16. pwncake, There is a spanking new driver set for 8800 owners, something like 158.xx Check them out and see if they help, I don't have a 8800 to try on. MZRoadster, You need to give me some detail, version numbers, processor types, UAL on, amount of memory. westyork, As you see, all sorts of us are running it under Vista. I personally run it on both Version of Vista. Is your XP 32 or 64 bit version [Yes, there is a 64 bit version of XP]. I'll see what I can find out about the 64 bit drivers from ATI. Rune
  17. Use the newer driver and now select the single core. See if ti helps any. Rune
  18. Also did you turn off EAX in the tow setup before running the scenario? Rune
  19. Guys, You cannot compare games with a limited view point against ToW. CoH and FPS fights are within blocks, while ToW is showing miles of terraint. Apples and Oranges guys. That being said, I ahve no problem with any of the missions, and reading the forums, people with less systems aren't having problems. What video driver version are you rinning and are you running anything in the backhround? Rune
  20. Also run the tow setup first and change the resolution, ot auto detect setup. You may have gotten the demo with it set to too high of a resolution. Rune
  21. Make sure you have the latest video driver. The default one that released with Vista was buggy and had problems with multiple games. ATI or nvidia web site and get newer drivers. Rune
  22. Mat, On your system, do you have the EAX turned off? Do you have any other programs running in the background? Rune

  25. recap: Make sure you are using the latest drivers from nvidia or ati. ATI http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html you want the 7.3 Nvidia www.nvidia.com or www.guru3d.com. I am using the 101 version for Vista. Make sure you have the hardware acceration turned up all the way for the video card. Make sure you do NOT have it set to multi-threaded in the NVidia control panel if you have a Nvidia card. Make sure you run tow setup and set the game to use 1 processor if you still have a problem. Also try a lower resolution to see if the problem is still occurring. If running in Vista with UAL on, run the game [and full game install] as admin. Using a mac and the video is upside down do the following: In file ww.ini change state "true" on state "false". It’s in line - "changeScreenRes". The thing is, that game will run in resolution used by your desktop. (Thanks Anka) Turn off EAX in the tow setup if you sound card does not support it. It helps load times and frame rates. Make sure you are not running other applications or programs at the same time. More as we find solutions. Rune [ April 19, 2007, 04:08 AM: Message edited by: rune ]
