Will this one be available through this website or will I only be able to download it from the GAJ site?
I will be uploading this to the repository this weekend, now that it has been tested.
-
Okay, looks like just one missing silhouette.
I'll fix that today, let Vencini double check, and hopefully it'll be up in the depository around the end of the weekend.
Since the fix is tiny I'll put the fix file on my website for those who downloaded already.

He moded my nickname too...
Dammit! That's the second time I've done that. Sorry dude. :o:o

Replaces silhouettes and weapons with various alternate options.
21x vehicle silhouette options
15x weapons options
Weapons options include range, and range+calibre, with choice of 1st aid symbol or yellow for wounded.
Silhouette options include effective range, full sets of numeric data, and bar graphs.
Red-green colourblind people fully supported.
Tested by Vincere
ONLY ON GAJ's SITE FOR NOW.
Why? Since none of my other testers reported back, this might contain errors.
I'm not doing the slow repository upload thing until I know this is all working.
So it's almost like an open beta test.
Please let me know immediately if you find anything and I'll fix it.

Very close. Been chasing minor errors and omissions among the 5800-odd files this mod encompasses. Now doing last-minute testing.

+1000
I open this forum everyday hoping to found Marco Bergman's weapons range mod...
I hope everything it's OK with you Mr. Bergman. Regards from one of your mods fan!
Vencini, please check your forum Private Messages in the top right corner of the page.
Testing has started.
-
Xian, check your Private Messages at the top of this window.
You volunteered to QC the mod, since Vin can't.
-
I'll hopefully be sending Vin the revised strings file tonight, so you should see it around the weekend.

The current camo is based on the official Operation Husky scheme, specifically for the invasion of Sicily. For the landings in Italy, the scheme changed to OD with black (or dark brown) stripes. So you will see this new camo scheme in a later module.

It's underway, but I'm busy being sick at the moment. Give me about a week.

Here's the historical data for the units in CMBN. I don't know how well CM:T conforms, or what units are included, but this should help.

What does the "weapon" with the red cross and yellow for wounded versions indicate?
Only the armour penetration of the weapons (grenade launchers & AT).
Some people like the red-cross icon for wounded. However I went to yellow-background for my mods because there just isn't enough room for the red cross icon as well as all the other stuff. I'm not sure that anybody will ever use the yellow-background plain version, but it came for free, as it were, as a consequence of how I made the textures so I thought I might as well include it.
I'm picking that most people will go for range or range+cal versions.

I have Scipio's Silhouettes 1.30b and Scipio's gy (green yellow) 1.30a and 1.30b
You have linked to a
Did you mean b or do we need to use a?
The files linked to are the only ones I could find on the repository, so that's what I linked.
I suggest you drop my files into the z directory and see what happens. I'm picking it'll work fine. The main requirement is some form of Scipio's included UI bits installed.
I have 186 replacement vehicle silhouettes and 250 replacement weapons silhouettes, but haven't bothered with support, air support, UI general stuff, etc.
The mod will run perfectly without *anything* of Scipio's installed, but will look rather mismatched to the console area.
-
-rg versions are for red-green colourblind people, and all the bars are shades of blue. You need the zmb-vehicle one.
-
1. HESH should not look like a sabot round.
From memory only the Challengers have it. I suppose I could redo them to keep you happy.
for 2., refresh the page.

This is an open beta test for a CMSF vehicle and weapon silhouettes mod.
It covers all modules, and a lot of CMA.
To save reinventing the wheel, this mod is based on Scipio's most excellent coloured units and weapons mods. I have deliberately chosen to only include changed items, so you must install Scipio's mods first.
Scipio's Full Coloured Weapon Icons v1.30a
Scipio's Full Colour Unit v1.30b
Scipio has released these mods under a CreativeCommons By-Nc-Sa License, so this must apply to this mod as well.
Vehicles are available in coloured or red-green colourblind versions.
Weapons are available in Scipio compatible, yellow for wounded, range, and range+calibre versions - all in either coloured or red-green colourblind versions.
Test files are here:
You need to unzip these files and put ONE of the vehicle .brz and ONE of the weapon .brz into your z folder.
If you try another version, make sure you remove the other .brz.
This is a test, so please comment here about any errors or problems or questions.
The info in this mod is very much an informed best-guess set of data, compiled from a large set of reference material, especially my numerous copies of Jane's. Hopefully I haven't made too many mistakes. But I'm open to revising data IF the argument is backed up with real data and sources. I'm not interested in changing data based on feelings and favorites, ok?
This mod has languished for nearly a year due to CMBN commitments, so I thought I'd better finish it. However I don't have CMA so I can't generate some of the required vehicle silhouettes, and will need some help.

I think, Mord, you missed one of his points a little. He wants Juju's modification of my silhouettes with my bars, and Juju's weapons with my text.
Anyway, the simple answer is, it isn't possible without redrawing them all yourself. I personally have no interest in spending 20+ hours making my mod look like someone else's derivation, sorry. If you really want to do it yourself, email me and I'll send you the .psd files and you can easily paste Juju's files in as another layer and resave the merged files... all 180-odd of them.

Does your mod include a replacement "call for artillery" button?
No. .

The Besa will only show up when a tank fires its mg. The Besa icon is definitely used.
The 3" mortar icons have been in the beta builds right through (unused), but mysteriously disappeared for the release. I left the icons in since I'd already done them, on the off-chance that they reappear in a patch.
