Freeboy
does my tric come in blue, with fun little yellow pinstripe?
SlapHappy
You can still engage those off-playable map elements, though. As long as they are in LOS. You just can't physically move your units into those areas, right? That only means you can't use the non-playable areas to make big sweeping maneuvers, which I guess is a pretty important limitation. SlapHappy
Also, I could've sworn I saw some instructions in the map editor about increasing the playable map area in relation to the overall map. So it is possible to do, with a likely performance hit.
SlapHappy
Confirmed. Increased "territory" variable to double normal size in battle editor in Last Chance scenario. I was able to cruise all over the map and attack the AT guns from the left side. Still got my clock cleaned! I wasn't really trying, though, just testing
Destraex
so you were able to do 4km square and move units\deploy in those areas? THats awesome
SlapHappy
If you open the scenario in the editor the yellow rectangle labeled "territory" can be increased to a maximum of the entire map size. The largest maps I have seen are 2050 x 2050 meters. You can re-edit to deploy or move anywhere within those boundaries.
