John Kettler
Wanted to pass the word that eBay right now has a simply astounding amount of militaria on offer going clear back to old newspaper prize list from 1814, Napoleonic caltrops, boarding pikes, Maxim cleaning kits, a WW II period PSO/1 telescopic sight, complete Kar 98 backsight (mint), Notek light, track links for everything from a Panzer 1-IS-2. (Is-2 apparently had two half links per track), roadwheels for a RSO and a simply amazing SWS, a real PzGr39 shipping box with all the stenciling readable and part of the original paper label still attached, flak templates for various German AAGs, German generators, gauges, test kits, commo wire, fuel pumps, steering wheels, T-60 roadwheels still with partial rubber, helmets from the Kurland Pocket and Dukla Pass (scene of "Tanko Brigada" war movie) at the "Iron Gates" from Carpathia, road wheels (metal only, from a dizzying array of German HTs, Ostketten, a "Don't shoot or smoke in the forest, recruit" sign, hand tools, jacks, medical equipment, Wehrmacht needles, mess tins from several nations, empty food tins, a Polish border sign medallion, GPW Russian medic beret, British and German torpedo props, etc. One of the more interesting modern items is the fire control panel from a T-55. All in all, this is a dizzying array of military buff and collector material. Some of it's rusty, but other items are clearly from someone's private collection and look almost new. This list doesn't remotely scratch the surface, either, just gives a hint. Has to be seen to be believed!
