  1. This was the point Had no idea that the year has an impact on the uniforms. Nice feature! Thanks for your help.
  2. Since 1.02. Very strange. Maybe I've got to rename something... Now I'l try some other uniform mods or reinstall the game... By the way, I've disabled all the other mods and just have Version 101.brz and Version 102.brz in my data folder and in the data/z folder I've called the uniform mod Version 600.brz. ... Just tried the spetsnaz uniform mod and it works. Very strange.
  3. Hi, has anyone tried to install the Late Soviet Mech Infantry mod? On my PC the Soviets just keep their standard uniforms. Other uniform mods don't work either. I have the downloaded version from battlefront version 1.03 on Windows 7. The other mods work without problems. The z-folder method doesn't help. Thanks for your help.
  4. Has anyone tried to install the khaki/camo uniforms? On my PC it doesn't work, the soviets just keep their standard uniforms, the other mods do work. Thanks for your help.
  5. When I use artillery smoke, are "normal" artillery rounds wasted, or do I have special smoke rounds? Does using a lot of artillery smoke mean that I'll have less lethal rounds? Thanks for the answers.
  6. Will there be any changes in draw distance? http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=259 I have the same problem. I try to ignore it and to enjoy the gameplay. But I've looked at the screenshots of the other players and some seem not to have this problem. Maybe not everyone's affected.
  7. no reloading when ordered to run - For example when a javelin team fires a missile, the soldier who holds the lafette reload although he is shot at. I can't prevent him from reloading, but want him to run or crough away and take cover. It would be great if troops stopped reloading such "big" weapons when ordered to move.
  8. Yeah I like long scenarios. Now the only thing that's missing is a skin of Brad Bellick for the syrian defenders.
  9. Very nice! I've just began your scen A crossroad to El Derjine to see what's coming and it rocks. Very atmosheric beginning. Looking forward to the campaign!
  10. referring to hcrof in the thread "syrian smoke": Some Soviet vehicles use their diesel engines to create "defensive smoke". That would have an impact on combat.
  11. That's an issue for the new patch! Seems quite important to me, it would have a direct impact on combat.
  12. Cougar would be great, maybe they are not used in the opening days of a war, which are simulated in the game (mostly), I don't know. But there are scenarios that play after the occupation, too. (1) I would like to see Makarovs (the pistols of red vehicle crews and officers). Yet their shooting is simulated, but they aren't modelled, instead the soldiers (graphically) have rifles. The panels show M9s instead of Makarovs. (2) The possibily to let "acquired" equipment in the vehicle, if you don't need it. For example you equip a stryker infantry squad with many javelins and then most enemy armor is destroyed and you want to move the infantry squad over a long distance. Since carryig 4 javelins slows down it would be better to let them behind in the Stryker, again.
  13. Wodin, which version do you have? When I bought CMSF there also was only the TF Thunder campaign. Than I patched it and there was the training campaing. I think it's included in a patch.
  14. When the Brits Module comes out: British paratroopers and SAS soldiers have rescued hostages taken by an african gang in Sierra Leone in 2000. Theres good material on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSWshpKnzJc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0bCht2dJq8&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_dT8ReckhI&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYdwZ0vO9o0&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_b419opiFo&feature=related It happens in the jungle and you can see a map in the video. There are only British soldiers and insurgents with AK-47s, both use mortars.
  15. Me too! One scenario and two pdf-files. Something's gone wrong?
