Hi there all. My name is Jordan Mechanic. In October of 2007, my computer crashed hard and I was not able to get it back up and running until after I moved from Oklahoma to Washington DC about six months later. I was playing a number of CMBB PBEM games (I think we had three games simultaneously). Unfortunately, ALL of my data was lost including my partner's email address. I just now reinstalled CMBB and was able to get it working with the patch. So, I am writing this post to try and find him. I remember that he lives in Australia and had "Ant" somewhere in the email address. Hey there all, I have a curious problem. I recently had to wipe my PC's drive and reinstall everything. This includes the newest drivers for my sound and video cards. Now when I play CMBB there is no sound. It is the latest version 1.03 and there was no problem at all before this. Anyone have any idea what is going on? Thanks!

What exactly do you mean by "shoot em up wargames?" Could you provide some examples of what you mean? Oh and CM is ofcourse the best wargame on the market and best wargame ever made. Jordan !

Add me onto the happy bandwagon for sure! I love any well done wargame. I also love the complexities that modern weaponry/warfare brings with it. It will be nice to have the change of environment and it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I know that I will have this game within days of its release. Jordan!

Computer Wargames would be Combat Mission BB (soon to add AK), Panzer General, and World at War. Table top would be : 6mm - Blitzkrieg Commander 28mm - Arc Of Fire

Hi there all. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on how to assault across a river. There is only one bridge to get my armor across, but the river is frozen so atleast I can walk my troops across this. On the side defended by my opponent is a village. Anyone have any tips? THanks!

I think that this is an important point made here. I am 31 and have been playing wargames since I was 12. I know that I am not nearly as experienced as others here, but I have always wanted (Most of) my games to reflect how combat is actually conducted. I wanted it to "make sense." There are still younger kids out there that want the same thing, but not many. I guess that just means that we will have to wait for them to get old enough to show interest in "real" games. Then we can teach them.

Hi there all, I am finally getting around to loading all the MODs from the MOD disk that came with the game. I am running Windows XP and cannot figure out how to load them. The intruction webpage says that some are self loading, but I cannot find that on any of them. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks in advance! JORDAN!!!
