    Let´s hope it is genuine:

That Lt. Colonel was right when asked if he thinks they could go home again under the current regime when he said "I doubt it".  Putin would have all 3 of the shot or at the very least spend the rest of their lives in a Siberian gulag.

  2. This was just on Fox News:

Financial services companies Visa and Mastercard announced Saturday they are suspending  business in Russia in response to the country’s invasion of neighboring Ukraine. "Effective immediately, Visa will work with its clients and partners within Russia to cease all Visa transactions over the coming days," Visa said in a press release. "Once complete, all transactions initiated with Visa cards issued in Russia will no longer work outside the country and any Visa cards issued by financial institutions outside of Russia will no longer work within the Russian Federation."

Mastercard effectively said the same thing.

    - has RT a problem with terrain variety? does it get boring quickly because you either get wide open fields with no cover (tank battle), or you get little forest areas (ambush scenario), and not much else?

    - why is it so unpopular? E.g. you even find very few videos on RT on Youtube, unlike to every single other CMx2 game!

There is plenty of variety in the terrain especially in those that take place in Poland and on the Polish/German border. Once you bet the game bundle there are I think around 128 or so Quick Battle maps of all kinds of terrain from city to forests to rolling hills...etc.

Type in "Combat Mission Red Thunder" on Youtube and you will find a lot more than a few videos on it. A lot of people are focused on the Cold War game and now with the Ukraine war the Black Sea game is getting a lot of interest. There are still RT scenarios being developed and an updated Battle Pack for RT will be released later this year.

Red Thunder is more popular than you think.

  4. Defence of Ukraine@DefenceUThe enemy does not go unpunished. Allied artillerymen inflict heavy fire damage, destroying columns and clusters of Russian occupying forces 🔥

  5. Saw this on the Defcon Level Warning System site: "

There are reports circulating around British news agencies that appear to be from one source, that Russian President Vladimir Putin has moved his family members to a Siberian 'underground city' designed to 'survive nuclear war', as well as claims that Putin is suffering from a secret illness.

Our intel team tracked the circulating reports down to one person, a political scientist and former professor in Moscow Valery Solovey, who claims that Putin has sent his family to a nuclear bunker in the Altai Mountains. The man has recently allegedly undergone an interrogation for 'claims he made about Putin' according to the British Daily Mail news agency.

Solovey is a former professor at the State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). He alleges that Putin suffers from medical problems hidden from the Russian public and has taken part in 'secret shamanic rituals' along with his defense minister Sergey Shoigu.

As the reports originate from one person, one must be careful about believing such claims wholeheartedly as there are not multiple sources to back up the man's claims that we can see thus far. We will continue monitoring the story and post any further findings if we come upon new information regarding the matter. 6. I think Twitter and social media is helping things from getting worse. If it wasn't for some of this modern technology the Russians would have had no problem of opening fire on some of those unarmed civilian barricades. Nobody wants to be filmed for something that would be used at a war crimes trial.

  7. In regards to some of the talk about the Russians using a tactical nuke...based on the quality or lack of on the conventional forces their nuke personnel may not be much better. If an order was given to launch at a city just to give the Ukrainians an example of what's to come it's a good possibility that the order wouldn't be carried out. That's something we would never know about as it would take place far beyond the borders.
