T-34/85
Made a sound mod for myself and it doesnt work. Get to the game and the sound i replaced simply have nothing. For example panther gun shoots nothing, i mean, no sound. No movement, etc. Why??? I did everything straight and plus i used .wav sounds...sooo.
Volodnikov
The .wavs for weapons firing and other sounds need to be mono. The background ambience can be stereo.
hoolaman
The sample rate and sample size have to be the same too IIRC, or it can sound glitchy. Save them as mono, 44.1khz, 16bit.
T-34/85
How do I do that? How do I save them as mono, etc?
Oddball_E8
there should be options to do this if you use dbpoweramp or audacity.
T-34/85
Thank you, yes I used audacity and put 16bit and now everything works. One more thing, I hate having Panther sounding same as sherman and thompson same as mp40 and kar98k same as m1 garand and so on... You cannot make different sounds at all for each one of them??? Thanks
