Boche
Im under the impression after reading the manual that now engineers and pioneers are better suited to "clear" or atleast mark minefields so that friendly troops can walk through them. Any guide on what to do if you know they are mines ahead and you have a group of engineers? PS: I tested out the engineers in the scenario editor vs antiarmour and antipersonel mines. I had 2 sand lines 3 squares width and X number length, one with AArmour mines the other with APersonel In the Personell range, the engineers "found" 1 mine by explosion and managed to find the rest as they crawled further. The engineers did not find one Anti armour mine both crawling or hunting through the minefield (obviously none blew up) I ordered the engineers to "mark mines" on the A-personell mines but all the did was lie down and hide, is this how its done? or is it the minefield is already marked? cheers!
Holman
I have had engineers with mark mine commands lie down for several minutes, and then the red "Minen" sign turned white. It takes a long time, and the engineers must be still and undisturbed. I doubt it can ever be done under fire.
