Taking pictures from movies

Under Windows just press 'Print Screen'. This will paste a screenshot to the Clipboard. You'll then need to open a graphics program and 'paste' the image (which will be in BMP format). The Clipboard will only hold one image at a time, so subsequent presses of Print Screen will result in the previous image being written over.

You can also get dedicated screen capture software such as HyperSnap-DX or you can get shareware Clipboard replacements that will allow several items to be in the clipboard.
