This is very nice, thanks to the original modder who compiled the presentation. Well done. Now all we need is a stat test grog (they are out there) to compile some info on the tiles in how well they offer conceilment, and cover as compared to each other as a tutorial for the new player to understand, and get comfortable with the terrain and their differences.

Yes, it is useful. Thanks MrPin. I thinking adding different trees types would be more compehensive. There have been threads with new players havung a hard time adapting to the new terrain in Cmx2 from Cmx1. In Cmsf there were players doing all different types of terrain test, and indeed not all trees are created equal from their findings. I think turning this in to a more detailed tuturial on terrain perhaps in PDF format once the stat grogs compile some comparisons would be a good idea in easing the aprehensions some of the new players have felt about understanding the terrain. BF has stated adding some more terrain info to cursor may come down the road, but this would be easier to impliment. Good job!

Does the game not have any tiles for asphalt road? The pavement tiles all seem to have bricks or cobbles. But our French experts on the forum have said the major highways and primary roads in 1944 Normandy would have been asphalt (with cobbles inside towns/cities, especially in side streets and in plaza areas), then gravel, then dirt as you go from highway or primary road to farther out in the countryside.
