The manual tells us that spotting is VASTLY improved when unbuttoned but it is hard to tell when a vehicle is buttoned or not. Did I click and close the hatch or open it? I don't know unless I zoom in to see. The menu should say OPEN if it is closed and CLOSED if it is open. I think in CM1(years ago) when you buttoned or unbuttoned it would happen immediately during the orders phase. Am I remembering that correctly?
