spawncaptain
Having already expressed my irritation about the German voices (the guy with the accent and in horrible quality) in another thread, I decided to make a mod that replaces his samples with the other German voices, effectively reducing the number of samples available for a certain situation. However, would I break the EULA if I wanted to upload this mod to the repository, i. e. making available parts of the software, even if it's only some sound files, to persons that have not payed for that software?
Gryphonne
If you're not allowed to post it to the repository, please upload it somewhere else and PM me the link
Redwolf
You are definitely not allowed to upload parts of any commercial CM release. The best way to do what you want to do would probably be to distribute a script that people can run on their own computers and that copies sounds from a CMx1 folder to a CMx2 folder.
spawncaptain
Yeah, I expected that. Good idea with the script, those CMx1 sounds are more varied as well, will look into it. Guess I'm going to dust off CMAK and fire up my IDE then. Thanks.
