jim crowley
Recent aquisition - Athlon 950, 256 Ram, above mentioned radeon. Everything works superbly - except for fog! Put up a battle with fog or thick fog and the whole graphics setup falls apart; just a fuzzy mess of coloured lines, with a barely discernable background. Any solution? Cheers Jim
Schrullenhaft
Sorry, there is no solution for the lack of fog with ATI cards on the PC. ATI for some reason does not support fog tables/fog table emulation in their drivers/hardware on the PC. This goes for the entire Rage graphics chip line and includes the latest Radeons. ATI supports vertex-based fog instead of fog tables (that CM uses).

ATI cards are quite common, is there no way for you to implement "vertex-based fog" (don't know what it means, but sounds great ) ? At least on ATI Rage fog is just "not visible", but everything works, with the newer Radeon it seems worse...OK, won't buy that junk again
