More info on unit losses

I love the fact that you can review your forces after the battle and see how many kills they got.

But it would be nice to have more direct info for losses too, in the post-battle screen as well as during the battle.

As it is now, a weapon icon disappears from the platoon info panel when the soldier dies, but it would be more informative, I think, to have the icons be greyed out or something similar so you can easily see how the unit is depleted.

It can be difficult to quickly determine how many men a unit has lost otherwise.

I guess if you click a unit the little transparent box on the side of the screen will show casualties, it was like that in CM:SF.

This already exists for crew served weapons with the little blue/grey/yellow/red bullet points. I think most people (I certainly do) go through their infantry formations and check how many soldiers there are per squad/fireteam and keep track of losses from there. With the addition of more and varied infantry formations in the modules you might have a point that some sort of interface adjustment could be justified.
