It's a Battlefront wide policy because it's no longer economically possible to have preorders in both US and Europe at the same time. As all of you know, what each government does and doesn't do with Customs Duties is outside of our control. It is also impossible for us to know what the policies are for each country or have some understanding of how regularly they are enforced. Our responsibility is to inform the customer that we're shipping preorder goods from the United States. It's come to our attention that we could have done a better job communicating this. As a result, some European customers assumed the preorder would be shipped out of Germany, as is standard for non-preordered goods. Such customers may be concerned about the extra fees and may wish to cancel their preorder. If that's the case, no problem. Simply email sales@battlefront.com with your order number and your order will be cancelled. We're sorry for the communications SNAFU. In the future we'll do a better job notifying customers that preordes are shipping out of the US. Additionally, if you are reading this message you are now informed that all preordered products ship from the US and not from Germany.
