Soddball
Am having a funny little buglette in CMBO playing TCP/IP. When I play a scenario, the game runs flawlessly. When I play a quick-battle with force selection on, both sides pick their units and proceed to the game map. Then, we set up. We press 'GO' to indicate we're ready and then the game just sits there. I don't know what it's waiting for. Any thoughts?
Schrullenhaft
Can you issue orders or is the screen locked up ? Are you saying that you can play a pre-made scenario via TCP/IP and not have problems, but QuickBattles are suffering some sort of strangeness ?
Soddball
I can pick and place all units, and so can my opponent. When I'm done I click 'go' and the timer at the top of the screen is replaced with the 'waiting for opponent' message - and that's as far as we get. Both of us have the 'waiting for opponent' message, and no game. Wierd, but there we are. It only happens in quick-battles, never in scenarios.
Schrullenhaft
Can you save the battle and restart the game in a fresh TCP/IP session ?
Soddball
I haven't tried but will give it a go.
