sross112
Went to start up CMSF and got a message that the exe file is a known malware (Win32/Heur). Anyone else experience this?
Schrullenhaft
Yes, there is another thread about this subject. What you are seeing is a "false positive". The heuristic scanning feature of your security software is mis-identifying the CMSF executables as being virus/trojans due to the encryption inside the files that the security software can't decipher. Since this behavior also mimics some trojans the files are identified as a generic trojan. You will probably have to add 'exceptions/trusts' for the CMSF executable files/directories. In addition to this you may need to turn off heuristic scanning or possibly "dial down" the settings/aggressiveness of the heuristic scanning.
