Will artillery be more flexible this time around?

Crumbs, Steve, not that I would disagree with the substance of what you said but that don't half sound like Haig in 1916 - "the wearing out fight".

Which is why I said it was the "best" that could be said about those ops :D Even that couldn't be said about Hürtgenwald. In that case the US wound up weakening itself more than the Germans, which then opened up the door to the Bulge.

Anyway, no rolling artillery unless that is changed from CMSF. You can however choose to target along a line, a disc or point target.

It IS possible in CMSF if you manually "adjust" the fire between each cycle. It's best made with multiple batteries but I've used it on occasion in thick or broken terrain.
