Sybaris Angst
Getting back into playing again and updating vehicle mods. A few questions: At the start of hostilities on the Eastern front were most German vehicles grey or gelb or both? If so about when did camo paint schemes start to appear?

JoMac
In general, camo schemes didnt appear until spring/summer 42' with many units still in transition by end of 42'. Joe
coe
Hmmm any reason why it took so long? I can presume that grey isn't exactly the best camouflage for a variety of conditions? (even uniforms).
Michael Emrys
Camo can be tricky as it has to blend with a variety of backgrounds under different lighting conditions. The Germans addressed that problem by giving the vehicles a bottom coat and then each crew a couple of pots of different colors so that they could adapt as conditions required and time allowed.
