Redjac
Is the AI pretty much the same as CMSF, or is it spruced up a bit. Not that the AI is a pushover in CMSF just wondering since I will likely play mostly man vs machine. maybe we could get a DAR of a single player game after jon and elvis wrap up their sparring match.
gunnersman
I recall Steve saying something about the AI on this forum. But I cant remember where he said it and the search function must have a minimum of three (3) letters to produce a result. It wont search for "AI".
Jaws
I test the QB system atm and the AI is a lot better then CMSF. I will not go in details but the Tactical AI far more improved. The Tactical AI is pretty awesome and keeps me surprising each battle or sometimes even each turn

Field Marshal Blücher
FYI, Redjac, the AI in everything other than QBs (so in standalone scens and campaigns) is determined by the scen designer. If the designer is good, they can do very, very effective things with the AI. This is actually true of CM:SF, but in the original game the scen designers were still working out the best ways to use the AI, so the original game's stuff is less effective than, say, the enemy AI in Brit and NATO module battles. The AI can be really tough in those battles (and in, of course, a lot of user-made scens), it's just a matter of design.
