Rob Murray
I'm wondering if somebody can help me with this one. I downloaded 3 scenarios from the wargamer page. I've got all 3 in my cmbo scenarios folder. 2 of them show up when I load the game cd but the 3rd doesn't. Could anyone tell me where I screwed up? The missing sccenario is called TOTALIZE 7 I think it's on the 2nd page of the scenarios page of the Wargamer.com. Thanks for any help.
Schrullenhaft
I don't know if there is anything wrong with the file that is posted up on the website. If you look through the CMBO/Scenarios directory with your file manager do you see the 'Totalize 7' file ? Does it have the '.CMB' or '.CMC' extension to it (so that CM recognizes it as a scenario or operation file). Be aware that if it is an Operation that you'll need to go to the 'Operations' listing (it won't appear in the default 'Scenario' listing).
Rob Murray
Sorry the 7 was a typo ( didn't notice until it was too late ). I checked both battles & operations on the cd & it isn't there. I went back to my c:\program files\cmbo\scenarios directory. Totalize is there. It shows up as a yellow manila file folder ( just like the various other file folders ). When I open it up it displays a symbol like the other scenarios and Cintheaux-Totalize_v03.cmb underneath the symbol. How would I go about adding it to my cmbo directory so that it shows up when I load the game cd. Thanks.
Schrullenhaft
Well you definitely need to be loading the game from the hard drive rather than the CD, if that is what you're doing. If your shortcut/alias is pointing to the CD to launch the executable then you will only see the scenarios and operations that are on the CD and not any that you've downloaded. In this particular case all you should need to do is to copy the .cmc or .cmb file to the Scenarios folder and it should appear when the scenario/operations screen is shown again.
