Virtual PC for Mac OS-X-to play CM!

Recommended Posts

I don't own a Mac-don't care to but for those

who do-I've ask around at major PC stores

Techs and ask if this can work and this can.

It's called Virtual-PC for the Mac-vers-7

you can play games at 1024x780-and higher

this has different vers to buy-XP-Home/Pro

and supports G-3,4,5-Macs-I did ask at Micro

Center(PC superstore)on if they had a testbed

for this and they did for for vers-6-but

they wipped they HD for the new Mac-Tiger

OS.

Just to tell you it isn't cheap-at $250.00

well even though I don't like Macs-I still

looked for fellow wargammers who do-not saying

anybody does-with all do respect-well maybe someone can testbed it here some links to MS about purchase and trouble shooting.

I hope this helps the Mac users for

Wargamming goodness.. :D

Yes when I first had a dual install CMBO disk from BFC - Still it might work by VPC 8 but I suspect the cost of a G6 and software will make it a dubious proposition.

We've been through this before two years ago and nothing has changed - Nov 30th 2003

Hi John,

Unfortunately the answer will be "no" to all three questions. There is no emulation solution available that can do what you are asking for.

Believe me -- I'd like nothing better than to be able to run Half-Life 2 on my Mac, but an emulator that's able to do that is still some time away, I'm afraid.

Thanks,

Richard
