WWMD Posted March 14, 2010 Share Posted March 14, 2010 I cabt confirm this as I was working and playing at same time, (.i.e. minimized SCGC to work on spareadsheet) I had evacuated Wainwright and the Manila Corp to Brunei, knowing Phillipines would fall. When I returned Wainwright and Phil Corp were gone. Is their dissapearance scripted to falll of Phillipines? BTW, I had moved the Aussie Cruiser to the fron of the port to protect the evac. Bill101 Posted March 14, 2010 Share Posted March 14, 2010 Not all countries can evacuate their forces and expect them to fight on after surrender. The Filipinos are ones who need to stick it out for as long as possible and fight on to the bitter end. Even for those countries which may fight on from exile, it isn't necessarily the case that all evacuated forces will continue the fight (think of the French, where only a small minority at first followed De Gaulle) therefore it is rarely best to evacuate a country's forces.
