Flickering screen

Recommended Posts

I had a similar problem (though with a different ATI card). Something was turned on (or off) in my options menu that hadn't ought. There are a couple ATI-specific menu items in the game options list.

There's also the ATI card's own 'Catalyist Control Center' screen. Some of the anti-alias options you might want to change to 'let the application decide' instead of always on. It may take some experimenting.

Hopefully someone more clever than me can give you specific tips.

The only two check boxes I have checked in the CCC (I'm running an HD4870, latest drivers) are Anti-Aliasing and Adaptive Anti-Aliasing. All other sliders and in-game settings are set to their highest level. Try that out and see if it helps.

Also, do you have a sufficient power supply for your card?

Thanks for the help!

I found a solution to fix it, might be interesting for other win 7 users as well:

I had to mark "desktopgestaltung deaktivieren" (something like deactivate desktop layout) by right clicking on the shockforce ikon!

Great!

I am set for the next modul!
