Xerxes the Great Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 Has there been any improvement to map size? Are we going to get a larger than 2x2 km map? The ability and option to play on a bigger map is the number one priority within my clan of about 8 folks playing LAN games. I understand the potential performance issues with weaker machines. However, we are not asking to remove 2x2 km option. We are only asking to provide a bigger (4x4 or larger) option for those with high-end machines that can run it. I believe it is more of the game engine issue than the user's PC spec. This code is in its 4th generation now and you'd think some optimization and scalability is in order! Tartari Posted December 23, 2009 Share Posted December 23, 2009 in my opinion, the Tow2 Afrika maps scale is too small, for armor maneuvering and desert tactics.
