Was reading in another thread and saw mention of a CM:Afghanistan and Soviet forces. Is it going to be set in the 80's? Main reason to ask is my first thought when I saw it was will this make it possible to pit Soviet troops against those of the west? That would actually spark my interest in this line of CM2 games. Elmar Bijlsma Posted November 26, 2009 Share Posted November 26, 2009 Yup, it's a separate game set in the 80s. So even though it uses the CMX2 game engine it will not be compatible with Shock Force. So no pitting units from CMSF against Muhajideen.
