emulsifier
Sorry if this is a dead horse, but I was wondering if there are any plans for OSX or Classic compatibility. I own CMBO and CMBB for PC and would like to purchase CMAK for my Powerbook but I'm unable to run it as it won't boot into OS9. Sometime last year Apple decided that newer machines shouldn't be able to do so and all machines since are unable to boot into 9. I would very much like to be able to play CM products on my Powerbook but currently am unable to do so because of this.
Schrullenhaft
As far as I'm aware, all of the OS X/Classic issues that CMBB has, CMAK will have also. If you're unable to boot into OS 9.x then you will be unable to run CMAK since it doesn't have a 'software rendering' mode (640x480 typically). OS X compatibility won't come until CMx2 is released (no known date of release since BTS/BFC have just started preliminary work on it). CMx2 will utilize OpenGL for its graphic API, which is the native graphic API for OS X. The current CM series requires more RAVE support than Apple is willing to provide in OS X/Classic and that is the major determinant of compatiblity that CM has with OS X.
