Skwabie
Hi, I'm new to TOW and just registered. Can't wait to check out the various nice mods out here, but when I click "download", there's always message saying "The requested URL XXXX.zip was not found on this server." This goes to all the mods... Is the ftp down?
Moon
No, ftp is not down. Are you using Google Chrome? Chrome does not support FTP and hence cannot be used to download.

Hi moon, Copy that. I'm using Firefox. Seems a problem on my end. Tried IE too and still can't access.
Moon
Well, it may have to do with your browser security settings, too. There is a FAQ in the Knowledge Base at www.battlefront.com/helpdesk for the Repository that you may want to check out: Repository Knowledge Base

There is a FAQ in the Knowledge Base at www.battlefront.com/helpdesk for the Repository that you may want to check out: Repository Knowledge Base I tried directly pinging the ftp IP and result was "timed out". I read the knowledge base, lowered the security settings and still no avail.
Moon
OK. If you can't reach the server via ping, then obviously you can't download files. This means that something downstream between you and our server is blocking the connection. You should contact your internet provider I guess. Our server is online and running. Moon
PS. Just read your PM. Yeah, *that* would definitely explain why the connection is blocked
