asm
I've got Marines 1.11 (I know I'll patch when I get BF) and just got a new graphics card, which is a GeForce GTS 250. Everything was great with my old card 8800 GTX (but it finally died) but now when there is gunfire the flash effect on the surroundings is not local, but the entire map flashes. Really annoying when the entire map is flickering when bullets are flying. Oh yeah and this only happens at night. Any thoughts?
Zatoichi
Apparently this is caused by the latest NVidia drivers - try rolling back to an earlier set (I'm not up on the NVidia drivers I'm afraid as I'm on ATI) - there's a thread in here somewhere with a bit more detail.
Schrullenhaft
This seems correct to my knowledge - Nvidia has 'borked' the 190 series driver when it comes to some dynamic lighting effects. You may want to go back to the 185.85 WHQL release which should have this feature working properly. If you're in an experimental mood (i.e. - you have some time to burn) you can possibly try out some of the newer beta drivers. However the newest driver I can find is the 190.62 WHQL release (which is what you're probably already running).
