JRMC1879 Posted August 4, 2009 Share Posted August 4, 2009 Similar to another post - I am a little confused with TUMs First - you dont seem to be able to "Acquire" anthing from the vehicles - either the original crew or other units. Also - dismounted crews only seem able to recrew there original vehicle - not another with the same weapon type .. Also - as another post suggested - once dismounted and if the crew runs out of ammo - they dont seem able to resupply GMGs for example from their original vehicle ... Can someone explain in detail how this dismounted weapons things and TUMs are supposed to work ? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
flamingknives Posted August 4, 2009 Share Posted August 4, 2009 Which TUMs? They do behave somewhat differently. The WMIKs can only be crewed by their original crew. AIUI this was to avoid dismounting the weapon crew then having an HQ leap up into the WMIK, giving the unit two sets of weapon. The TUM STs, FFRs and GSs should all have acquirable ammunition. Indeed the CSM wagon with the light role companies should have buckets of ammunition for all the sections. The GMG ammo on the vehicle seems to be separate from that carried by the dismounted team. The dismounted teams should be able to replenish from the section supply wagon (a TUM ST or GS, can't remember off the top of my head.) 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
