YankeeDog
Hi there. Apologies if this bug has already been reported; I did a quick search but didn't find anything exactly like this. I encountered a new bug (to me) today playing Turn-based. Unfortunately, I don't have a save game file; I meant to save it, but I accidentally saved over the turn showing the bug later in the game. Description is as follows: I ordered a Stryker Infantry MOUT squad to exit a Stryker as soon as the Stryker completed a move order. At the next orders phase, the squad was just starting to get out of the Strkyer -- they were about 1/3 out, 2/3 in. Situation had changed, so at this orders phase, I canceled all movement orders for the squad, and issued a new movement order for the squad to re-embark into the Stryker. During the next movement phase, the squad did this funky little dance, with soldiers rapidly getting in and out of the Stryker. When orders came up again, 6 of the soldiers in the Strkyer squad were standing on the ground, in a tight clump in the same space as the Stryker vehicle. That is, their legs were hanging out from under the Strkyer Flintstones-style. Other than this odd graphical representation, these soldiers had apparently "disappeared" from the game -- they no longer appeared on the squad's info panel. In an attempt to fix the problem, I ordered the squad to disembark again, and only 3 soldiers got out. Good news is that I was able to "find" the 6 missing soldiers by ordering the 3 men in the squad that I still had control over to re-embark once again. After I did this, the squad magically went back up to 9 men, the Flintstones legs disappeared, and everything worked fine. If I have time, I'll see if I can replicate this bug tonight. It's not a big deal, since it apparently only happens with in a very specific situation, and there is a way to work around it if it happens. But I figured I should report it nevertheless. Cheers, YD
MarkEzra
Without a save it will be near impossible to help. But I'd suggest you just hang tight for the V1.20 patch prior to sending in a bug report.
YankeeDog
Thanks, Mark. I'll wait and see if I can get a save file in 1.20. I remember very specifically the situation that caused it, so I should be able to replicate it if it's a consistent bug. And next time, I'll be more careful about what I name my saved game files.
