Wengart
I was recently playing a QB when my CO's T-55 was hit by an RPG 7. The RPG killed both the gunner and loader, and the CO took over the gunner position. However once he fired the main gun he would not reload it, I assumed he would take over the loader position as needed, is this normal behavior?
Meach
Moving about inside a T55 is pretty hard to do. He might have been trying to get from one position to the next and the invisible timer was ticking. How long did he sit in the gunners seat?
MikeyD
Most modern tank commanders have a targetting over-ride capability so the T55 CO wouldn't have had to move to a goo-covered gunner's seat to fire. He could've done it from his commander's station (one reason why its so hard to totally 'X' the fire controls in the game) . Getting to the right side of the turret to reload the round is another matter. Moving from the front seat to the back seat of a Mini Cooper without using the doors would be a less awkward task!
