Humvee MK19: special ammunition or graphic glitch ?

Hi There,

While playing a PBEM CMSF Marines 1.11 game, an MK19 Humvee fired a round to my BMP-2.

As shown on the pic (red circle on the left), the MK19 has fired - at the 1st shot - a volley of small grenades instead of a single grenade. Is this one of the MK19 ammunitions (HellHound or Draco described in the Marines manual p.20) or a graphic glitch ?

The game hasn't any issue otherwise.

I've seen the same graphic issue in CMBB and CMAK though.

I saw the same thing last night - it looked like a shotgun blast. I was wondering what it was at the time.

i believe this is a known glitch. i have had it happen to me with LAVs as well as BMPs too. the vehicle will fire and 5 or so rounds will go out in a shotgun type blast. the ammo counter will count off all the ammo that is fired as well.

This is a known bug--it has to do with some kind of timing issue (obviously), but it's pretty rare. I've seen it only once.

Actually, it's not so rare.. I see this bug pretty often..

thanks guys . It's the 1st time I see this in CMSF. I haven't checked the ammunition counter though. But if it was a real "MK19 shotgun" shot I understand why my BMP was knocked out immediatlty :-)
