Moon
Nobody else is reporting anything like it. Are you sure you have installed the patch correctly? Got any mods installed that might be screwing up things?

Webwing
richa, Have you tried z-Bee Mod Manager? Seems to work wonders. http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=85193
richa
ok, now i'm really confused, tried CMSF this morning and bingo! it's working?!? only thing i did was (thanks webwing) install z-Bee , mod manager ? what do you reckon on that, is z-Bee a cure all ???
Webwing
No problme richa. Glad it worked for you. Installing and un-installing mods can be a pain once you have too many mods, and since it is all manual the processes is prone to error. This application done by theFightingSeabee is an absolute must. People that have been put away from MODs because it was complicated now will be able to use them very easily.
richa
......................Guess what, yep broken again, same problem as i started with. to be honest this game hasn,t played any good since 1.10, 1.11 made things worse, now i'm bored of having to do all the fussing around with any of the settings (which makes no difference to anything anyway), so uninstalling as i write, thanks to all on the forum for your constant help, but for me the game isn't worth the work.
donnieitaly
This is a real problem with computer games. See I bought my computer because it does stuff I like. I don't CARE HOW it works, only that it should. I'm lucky in that I have a 28 year old computer genius as a son. (And I do mean genius!) There's is no way I could untangle, oh, computer geeky stuff, and I don't want too either. Now I know that the nature of the beast is that the games come with bugs. And I know it's very difficult for you chaps to sort them out. But I do think you ought to be able to provide a solution for bugs aimed at gamers and not at computer geeks. I say this without unfair criticism I hope, as this game is a miracle if one was around in the days of the Sinclair or TRS 80. (It's also a bloody good game.) WHEN ARE THE BRITS COMING!!!!!!!!
Moon
Now I know that the nature of the beast is that the games come with bugs. And I know it's very difficult for you chaps to sort them out. But I do think you ought to be able to provide a solution for bugs aimed at gamers and not at computer geeks. The problem is that players often wrongly assume that the symptom and the cause of a "bug" are one and the same. The symptom is "the game doesn't work, so fix the game". But the cause can be something else entirely, and many of these things that could cause the symptom are entirely outside of our control. This isn't meant as a blanket excuse for everything that doesn't work of course. But I thought it would be a fitting comment.
theFightingSeabee
I don't know what video card you're using, but I've had to revert back to an older set of ATI drivers. That might help you.
