Combat Losses Message Box - Keep Missing Results

When I play against the AI, especially in scenarios where it takes the AI several minutes to play a turn, I quite often get up from the computer and do something else. Unfortunately when I return I have missed all of the message boxes that popped up during the AI turn and the Combat Losses box that pops up briefly at the start of my turn.

It would be great if we could review all of the messages displayed at any time so that I could tell if I lost a unit or whatever else interesting happened while I was not looking. If that is too difficult at least keep the combat losses message box open until I press ENTER.

This seems to me that it would not be a tough enhancement?
