It is a DVD copy, but it has no license on the case nor in the manual. I think I ordered the box version from battlefront, but I cant remember off hand. For purchases after Oct 1, 2007, you can look up your key in your customer account at www.battlefront.com/store After logging in, click on "My Account" or "Account Maintenance".
