Lt Bull Posted November 29, 2003 Share Posted November 29, 2003 Even though I have played countless CMBO battles since it first came out, I have yet to play a scenario which featires one of my favourite British tanks ,the Comet. Can anyone recommed a historically based scenario that features this tank is decent numbers? Willy Posted February 7, 2004 Share Posted February 7, 2004 I've read that one of the two documented nighttime actions involving the Panther "Uhu" (equipped with experimental IR sights for the gunner and driver) ended in a platoon of British Comet tanks being destroyed. The other ended in the destruction of a U.S. 3" AT gun position on the Weser Canal. I gather there is still some arguement over the veracity of these stories, but at least the Coment merits a mention! P.S.
