Big Al
Didnt take it as such. I said raw production was accurate not the force pools. Oil is a whole other beast. Im talking about men, ships, merchants, arms, tanks, planes. I was shocked when I saw the calculations. I made up my own point system so just bear with me. Germany total POTENTIAL production accounting for stat bombing in 1944: 2100 points I added 30% more production. Thats what I figure about what the allies destroyed, but no one knows for sure. 1940: 470 points Japan 1940: 132, 1944 POTENTIAL production if there was no sinking merchants 2120. I calculated the US destroyed 1/2 of their production that year on average. Italy 1940 248 which was basically its peak UK 1940 460, 1943: 900 USSR 1940 358, 1944: 1608 USA 1940: 164, 1944: 4450 I did this to create my own game. I triple checked the #s too. Some things I assigned different values like 2-3 russian tanks = 1 german tank in material and quality as an example. I dont remember what I really used. I did this about 1 year ago The one place I could be off was naval costs.
arado234
Big Al what do you think about somehow adding Ultra?Maybe to big of a game breaker? If you have ever played Third Reich you know that all major powers get a chance to counterattack to recapture their capital.I would think that would be a great addition to a possible SC3.
