PanzerkwVIIIMaus
well, after seeing how in some games vehicles and armored cars are so much faster, i decided to go into the game files and pumped some steroids into the engines. if everyone likes what this does, i'll do the same for all the tanks, cars, and armored cars and anything else that moves that i'm forgetting. http://files.filefront.com/Speed+Testrar/;11521481;/fileinfo.html please no terrible comments. it seems easy, but it wasn't. Dietrich
A cool idea, PanzerkwVIIIMaus, though it seems to me that a number of the vehicles (especially the heavy tanks like the Tiger, etc.) are unrealistically fast, especially cross-country. SlapHappy
Actually I think most of the vehicles are fast enough, if not too fast...so agreeing with the second poster.... A lot of those max speeds you see in spec listings are on ideal surfaces and not under combat conditions. Quite awhile back I went in and stoked down the speed on some of the slowest AFV's and gave a considerable boost to the infantry speed...Unfortunately it makes the animations look pretty goofy.......I believe I made the fastest infantry movement something like 1.5 times faster.... PanzerkwVIIIMaus
well i want to make the sherman have its advantage over the other tanks-speed. oh and if you think the bike is too fast, sorry. i was having too much fun. well i'm working on the shermans right now. hopefully, they can get their little advantage. oh and i might add a testing map
