If I get a 3 times faster cpu for my Mac G4/400, will the game play 3 times faster? I allocated 200 megs of memeory to the game, the computer has over 800 megs memory and running OS 9.1. Schrullenhaft Posted January 24, 2003 Share Posted January 24, 2003 I doubt that a CPU that has a three-fold increase in clock speed is going to speed up the calculations for that scenario three-fold. 'To the Volga' is a gigantic scenario and I doubt that you'll be able to get the improvements in speed that you're hoping for. There can be an extensive number of calculations for shots taken that just choke most CPUs available.
