I ordered CMBO, CMBB and CMAK the first part of Dec 2008. I received only CMBO in the mail, manual and CD. After several emails to the helpdesk and sales I still have not received CMBB or CMAK. Has anyone else been having problems getting anything mailed from Battlefront?

The graphic card is a "ATI,RadeonHD2600". Would that make a difference in viewing the text?

Well the old G4 mac is dying, 8 yrs old and I use it to play CM x1 in OS 9. Great games with lots of scenarios. So now I have decided to try to play CM x1 with a 2.4Ghz iMac and Win XP. I am running Win XP in boot camp. I down loaded the Demo CM Africa corps but the text was just white boxes and no readable text. Are there preferences/options that are not available in the Demo? As it is now, CM x1 is unplayable on my Win XP set up.

For me CMBO set a high standard for computer war games. The number of scenarios made it interesting to play years after it was released. I have over 220 scenarios. Most of which came from a site that I think was called "Scenario Warehouse". One great game. I play it on a Mac with OS 9.2. I would pay good money for an updated game.

I want to thank every one for the help. CMSF has been running just fine after updating Windows XP with Update for Windows XP (KB896256) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=C2AB5A48-8240-4934-BBD8-34FB8A0FCE3B&displaylang=en Then updating the ATI drivers at http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/mac/bootcamp-xp.html Then updating CMSF to 1.0.4. I am not sure if the Windows update was necessary?? The game plays just fine with normal settings. I don't know how to determine the frame rates.

I bought Shock force CD when is was released. I can not get the game to run on VMWare Fusion or in Bootcamp on a new iMac 2.4 GHz 1 GB memory OS 10.4.10. In Fusion the game loads but will not run. In Bootcamp when trying to place way-points it quits. I will down load v 1.04 of Shock Force and see if that helps. Has anyone got this game to run on a Mac??

Some of the battles in CMBO have 14" artillery. How can that be added to other battles? I am using a Mac.

That appears to do it. Hold the "option" key while pressing download. The file is on the desk top with suffix .cmg. Thanks.

I am having trouble downloading the scenarios from http://www.dragonlair.net/combatmission/ If the file is not zipped, but is text, I can not use the scenario. I am using a Mac with OS 10.3.9 with Safari to download the file and copy and paste into either TextEdit or Appleworks. The text appears in a window which I copy and paste into the word processor. I give the file a name with a prefix of .cmb or the other prefix ( I can't remember now what it is) and place it into the game scenarios folder. The scenario will not show in the window if I want to modify it nor will show up in the game to start the scenario. Any zipped scenarios work just fine. How can I use the text scenarios?

Will it run on a Mac?

I would buy WWII At Sea and have the plastic ready. I play Combat Mission more than any other game. Switching to OS 9 is not a problem with me. Go Battlefront!!!!! -
Will Down In flames work on a Mac?

Here is one more vote for the Macintosh platform. -
I am playing against the computer in the operation called To the Volga. Lots of bulidings. The time per turn is over an hour. If I get a 3 times faster cpu for my Mac G4/400, will the game play 3 times faster? I allocated 200 megs of memeory to the game, the computer has over 800 megs memory and running OS 9.1. The new Sonnet 1.25 gig card is about $800.

I also hope that a Mac version of Strategic Command is produced. My wallet is ready. Strategic Command looks similar to Onslaught.

I am using a G4/400 with 320 megs memory, OS 9.1 CM 1.1 and I can not get Clash of Eagles to run. I had run this scenario several months ago but it now locks up. I get to the screen to select sides and quanitity of forces and the programs just stops. I have waited 4 to 5 minutes for the scenario to load but nothing. I had to use the reset button to restart the computer. I did this several times with the same result. I ran Norton Disk Doctor and Disk Warior, reinstalled a new copy of CM v1.1 and replaced the scenario Clash of Eagles. I have allocated 60 megs of memory to CM. Any thoughts??

I have ordered TacOps 3 for the Mac. I would like to change the colors of friendly and enemy units. I do not like the linguini spined blue but would prefer testosterone green. The enemy should be commy pink. These are not political correct colors but just reflect my personal preferences.
