Mod question

Recommended Posts

Hi. You need to create a folder titled z. That's it, just z. Place it in your data folder. Then place your mods in the z folder. When you start a new game they will show up. It should look like this, Battlefront/CMSF/Data/z...or something to that effect.

When you are done using the mod or if you don't like it, just remove it from the z folder and your game will go back to the original stock graphics. It's so much easier than the old way. You don't have to worry about backing up the original bmps and wavs or possibly losing them.

For any new mods to take effect, or when you want to remove them, you have to quit CMSF. Shut the game down and add or remove whatever mod/mods you are dealing with, then restart the game and you will be good to go.

Hope that helps.

Mord.

P.S. There's a decent readme under Mod Tools in your main CMSF folder that will give you more help.
