birdstrike
There is a little thing I've noticed when editing building walls. If you ctrl-left-click on the wall from "inside" a building, the wall is removed immediately. A second click from inside will restore the solid wall and you can start with the first door/window layout again when clicking from the outside. That's not much, I know, but it saved me quite some time for creating solid walls and open passages. And in combination with ALT-ctrl you can "reset" whole building fronts for editing.
