reel-why
I find that the bradley has one of the most recognizable guns in the game. If one is firing on the map, you always know. That *phht* sound is very distinct. I'm also noticing that they often fire in the same pattern. One round then a momentary pause followed by a sequence of rounds. If I played drums or something I'm sure there's a way to write it out. Does anyone know why this is? Do real bradley's fire in a similar manner? Is it inherent in the weapons design or a gunner's training? Just curious and thought some of the hardware savvy folk round here might know something about it.
Splinty
I used to be a Bradley gunner back in the early '90s we were trained to fire in a specific sequence. We'd fire one spotting round, followed by three rounds to hit the target, followed by five to finish it. So 1-3-5.
reel-why
Cool, I'm impressed that BF modeled that in. I'm pretty sure thats the ingame pattern.
